Type 2 Diabetes & Exercise

 

Goal: Improve cardiovascular health, muscle strength, endurance and flexibility.

Action: Find the right exercises for your team.

Purpose: To give all our Teams for Life a workout!

 

Before you start, I want you to know I don’t actually believe you need to exercise to reverse type 2 diabetes, there are many studies that show you can’t ‘run’ your way out of a bad diet, so don’t worry if going down the gym for X hours every week is not for you, as long as you pay close attention to your dietary intake you can still do fine.

Exercise can however help all your players to play better and provide a workout for the teams for life, so it remains important for Premiership Health.
